Keynote Presentation will be given by Punya Mishra
Keynote Speaker
Punya Mishra is a professor of educational technology and director of the Master of Arts in
Educational Technology program at Michigan State University. He is nationally and internationally
recognized for his work on the theoretical, cognitive and social aspects related to the design
and use of computer-based learning environments. He has worked extensively in the area of
technology integration in teacher education which led to the development (in collaboration
with M. J. Koehler) of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework, which has been
described as “the most significant advancement in the area of technology integration in the past 25 years.“

Keynote Speaker
Dr. William Rankin is Director of Learning on the education team at Apple Inc., with special responsibility for promoting and enhancing innovative teaching and learning. Prior to joining Apple, he worked as an academic in higher education for 24 years, concluding his time as a Professor of English and Honors College Fellow at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. As ACU's Director of Educational Innovation, he helped design the world's first one-to-one that gave every student an iOS device as a platform for exploring next-wave mobile learning.
